Prepare your team and data for an ERP rollout
A successful rollout needs clear ownership, usable data and a practical plan for everyday work.
Name the people responsible
Assign business owners for finance, stock and other in-scope areas. Agree who approves the configuration, validates opening information and answers questions from the implementation team.
Prepare the starting data
Review customer and supplier records, item codes, units, stock quantities and opening balances. Remove duplicates and identify missing information. Agree a cut-off date and reconcile the data before it is imported.
Validate end-to-end examples
Test representative workflows, including returns, adjustments and other exceptions that matter to your business. Confirm how documents affect stock and accounting, and compare the resulting reports with your expectations.
Train for responsibilities
Give users training based on the tasks and permissions they will use. Arrange a channel for questions, document unresolved issues and agree the go-live support process. Use a staged rollout when your requirements call for it.
